The VI Workshop on Global Value Chains is organised by the Manlio Rossi-Doria Centre within the activities of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Project “Understanding European Economic Policy: Towards a Deeper Union”, in partnership with Sapienza University of Rome, Manlio Masi Foundation, and University of Sannio. It will be held in presence at the School of Economics and Business Studies of Roma Tre University.
On February 18th 2021, the European Commission set out its new trade strategy for the coming years. The strategy includes a renewed focus on corroborating multilateralism and reforming global trade rules to ensure that they are fair and sustainable. Such a strategy is also aimed at strengthening value chains’ sustainability and resilience. The meeting will be the occasion to gather experts to discuss these topics and to contribute to the debate on European Trade Policy and Global Value Chains.
