Il 2 dicembre 2015 il Centro Ricerche Economiche e Sociali Manlio Rossi-Doria dell’Università degli studi Roma Tre ha organizzato la presentazione del libro di Guido Fabiani Agricoltura-Mondo. La storia contemporanea e gli scenari futuri, uscito nell’autunno per i tipi di Donzelli. L’evento, introdotto da Anna Carbone, si è tenuto nella Sala delle Lauree del Dipartimento di Economia di Roma Tre che per l’occasione si è riempita di docenti, ricercatori, studenti ma anche tanti ospiti esterni al sistema universitario. On Sunday 10th January 2016, Prof. Michele De Benedictis, at the age of 88 has passed away. He had turned 88 on December 19th, celebrating  serenely with his family. Michele was formally long since retired, but his passion as a scholar has remained alive to the last, prompting him to actively participate in the life of many organisations he was part of. He had been chair of the Association for Studies and Research Manlio Rossi-Doria, which he had founded, then becoming honorary chair of Manlio Rossi-Doria Centre for Social and Economic Research. With deep sadness we announce the sudden death of our friend and colleague Prof. Giovanni Anania on Wednesday, July 15th. Giovanni Anania was Full Professor at the University of Calabria (Italy) and President of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAEE). His scientific commitment was directly inspired to the scientific, political and cultural heritage of Manlio Rossi-Doria since he earned a post-graduate diploma from the Portici Center.
