AGRICOLTURA NUTRIZIONE SPRECHI: UN CONVEGNO DELLA LEGA DELLE DONNE PARLAMENTARI NEL MONDO
La lega delle donne parlamentari di tutto il mondo (Women in Parliaments Global Forum, WIP) , il Senato della Repubblica Italiana e la Camera dei Deputati organizzano un evento presso EXPO 2015 dedicato all’agricoltura e sviluppo, lotta agli sprechi, salute e nutrizione.

PROGRAMMA
Abstract. The fight against hunger and food waste through women’s eyes: this is the starting point for a conference organised by WIP Global Forum in cooperation with Italy’s Senate of the Republic and Chamber of Deputies. The meeting will focus on some key issues for the future of the entire planet. The Zero Hunger Challenge launched by UN Secretary-General Mr Ban Ki-moon in 2012 has raised awareness worldwide but the road ahead is still a long one. The Milan meeting is expected to adopt a statement to be submitted to the UN Secretary-General on the occasion of his visit to Expo Milano on 16 October 2015.
